I bought a Mustang Alpha starter package last week and decided to try a short subscription. Earlier today I bought a 2 month Centurion access pass. Everything went through but I still don't see the additional monthly REC. Is REC distributed at a fixed time each month? I can't find any FAQ on the distribution of REC. TIA

everybody knew that the player is the pilot. which is mean he is none ground combat unit like marines. don't know will future give opportunity to the pilot about how to kill some on like sam fisher in splinter cell. doesn't looks strange that flight pilot can kill some one with out any education and training? shouldn't this turn in to some skill tree so player can learn later at PU?

So far out of all of the alien races we have seen, none of them seems compatible with the human reproductive system. In Star Wars we have Twileks and in Star Trek, most aliens are functional as demonstrated by the research data provided by James T. Kirk. Even in other games like Mass Effect the aliens seem more compatible with the human aesthestic.

From the aliens we have seen so far, I'm not sure I would voluntarily mate with them and wouldn't even know how to start.

Are any of you attracted to them? If so, why?

Older Ship models

Anyone else think they should keep all the old versions of the ship in game in the form of hanger models like we have now as flair? Like the freelancer its a big change from the older version so maybe have a model named Freelancer V1 while the new one would be V2. Personally I'd like to see the entire ship remain maybe lower their stats but still useable ie again the freelancer as an example v1 would have weaker armor shields weapons so on Just maybe upgrade the texture some so it doesn't look fugly. Eve does this all teh time a massive change to the ships looks and their all changed to new version when in reality you would still see old hulls after a new version is put out. I just think it would be more interesting seeing the different versions over time like years down the road how many versions of the freelancers hull will there be.

will 5 ppl working together make a lot more money then the total of 5 working by them self, if so then you will still have to trust the person holding the money to give it away.

what's stopping them from pocketing it.

and if thy don't make more money together then I think something like this would have to be done for a org to grow.

a very likely method of payment for ship captains is filling in a weekly quota which could be of cargo or UEC. ship captains that meet the quota will be eligible to be loaned new ships that are better in their field. ship captains that receive a new ship their quotas will increase, but their own profits should increase significantly as well. ships will range form starter ships to the very best in their field. to increase your chance of getting a new and better ship sooner you will need to go beyond your quota to get a better chance over other Zelta members

Who would be interested in making our own race tracks?

By that I mean tracks where they can be purpose build for stable racing lines, and really great endurance style racing... IE 20-40 lap races?

It would be really cool if we could build them in verse, but I would understand is it would only be possible to run on separate servers. At current, I really hate the way that racing runs, as only the first place finishes, and it is only 4 ships, with a 3 lap race... (that's not good sim racing right there, and certainly not good enough for a serious racing league!) I was considering the notion of a sporting code, and track standardized regulations... Obviously tuning those to work with the ships, and changing until the best possible system can be achieved would be best...

I don't like a lot of what has happened with racin g in SC as of late. The corner cutters have coopted the whole thing, and any idea outside their narrative is just flamed out... (Really good attitude guys!)

I don't know how many people are actually taking racing seriously right now, but with their attitude towards all newcomers and the really unpolished racing as it stands, I can't imagine those numbers being particularly good! (I'm fairly certain all "real world" race enthusiasts have been pushed out already! because of the whole no rules crap! I've seen plenty of those forums, and they are always a flame out! "No conversation will be had if it goes against the small racing group in SC!")

I want a dozen or more on track, possibly even up to 25 depending on track size. And I want higher lap counts as high as maybe even 100, also depending on track size. (and potentially a variety of different racing styles...)

What I would like to see is a more "real world" racing enthusiast style racing in SC. At current, there is nothing remotely close to this, and it's a shame! those who do run races, will only do so if it fit's the thin narrative, etched in stone. anything that suggests they shouldn't deviate off course is met with extreme hostility, or a general disdain!

Well, I propose a league that ignores them! And goes ahead with building a ruleset that is more inclusive to folloing a track racing line. (If you're fast on one, you should be fast on the other...) I just want safer cleaner racing to build a more inclusive, spectator friendly environment. It's not gonna work if everybody is cutting through holes in buildings. If you put 12-18 racecraft in that, all you're gonna get is a wreck!

There is a method to track design, and the racing line. Something there are many books dedicated to. We all know, that the track creator had an intended line, because it is generally labeled with signs, and posts... It would be really cool to have track gear as buyable or buildable in verse, so temporary tracks could be setup for races, and as popularity increases, temporary could become permanent. This fits hand in hand with the notion of track guidelines. To maintain a particular level of standardization in a racing league. Do I know exactly what those standards should be? No! But neither did real world racing leagues when they first started out, and so proposed changes to the code happen every year!

I'm proposing the possibility of a league franchise, and officiated racing in SC. Are there others who are trying to do this? Yes... But they all only seem to fit a single narrative, and all others are being pushed out the door as fast as they can open it! (I have a serious problem with that!)

If we ignore them, we can surpass them, and create a really great league. The defense of a partially built system is just a method for never really making racing great... (We need to try a bunch of new stuff if something great is going to come out of SC racing, limiting the conversation is their fault. We don't have to fall in line! I'm certainly not going to!) I want to experiment with all the possibilities that racing in SC could potentially bring... At this point stepping on toes doesn't seem to be a deal breaker! So many were thrown out for criticizing corner cutting, that I'm sure there are plenty who still want good racing outside of that narrative! (Especially the real world racing fans! And sim-racing fans)

We could take a copy and paste approach, and use already fabricated sporting codes, such as that from IRacing or other racing environments, and see what happens... (Those who got into SC racing early don't like rules, and neither did any of the folks in the "real world" who had to deal with new rules... It's just how that works. But it made racing what it is today! We wouldn't have F1, Indycar, or Nascar without the rulebook, and standardizations) Rules might make things more complicated, but they make things better for everybody in the long run. "Or they get changed!"
