Depending on how you define p2w SC is either extremely pay to win or not at all, which I think is quite interesting.

So if p2w means: it is possible to spend real money to get an in game advantage over other players. Then SC really is hardcore pay to win, you can buy anything and the top tier ships and items are significantly better than their lower tier counterparts.

If p2w means: you can buy things which cannot be earned by grinding then SC is still kind of p2w because it has limited edition ships and concierge rewards (gold suit and sniper rifle etc) which can't be earned by grinding.

However if p2w means: if you pay money you will definitely win the game then it's not really p2w at all. Like with EVE you can spend a bunch of money on the best ship and the best weapons and still get jumped by a dozen auroras and die.

So what do you think? When describing SC would you use the term p2w?

I think personally I would, because a rich guy in and Idris who has lent a bunch of Super Hornets to their friends is at a pretty huge advantage, despite the fact that it will be possible to grind your way there should you choose.

The entire ship marketing exercise is designed to make you feel like you will do better in the verse if you spend more money. And I think that fits the definition neatly.

Hull-C is close to completion last year, so why it is removed from the Ship Piper Line? Why is not even on the Roadmap to this year?

Looks like CIG is handling with A LOT of problems with the Hull-C original ideia, the Spine and Surrounding cargo.

One of the worse problems from the a Concept Art is the Paper accepts everything, the problem is the implementation. And CIG is on that case now.

I always wondering about how would CIG could handle with Hull series Cargo Loading and Unloading. Looks like even IF CIG fix all the problems related by the spine, they still will have problems about how to load and unload it. Basically CIG will need to create a complete unique system only for the Hull series and this is a terrible problem, is a waste of time and time is money. And how the player will could add and remove cargo manually yet?

I really believe the Cargo Depot idea is a way to fix the problem of the Load and Unload from the Hull series has now, but it generates ANOTHER PROBLEM! How will Hull-A and B load/unload their cargos on planets when landed?

So many question, no answers.

So, I'm thinking about how it could be fixed and there is no other way besides change the original concept of the ship, it not need be a drastic change, but a enough to fix it. And as a Hull-B owner, I will not got mad in change the original ship to make it work, many ships already have change.

So this is my proposital:

This is the Original Hull-B concept (I choose it because I have one and I want it be released on day).

The way to fix the load and unload problem in my thinking is remove the surrounding cargo and use a more simple approach based on real world like the Cargo Ships do today.

So this is how it could be, instead of a surrounding cargo, the spine generates a platform that you can put cargo on it.

Besides it not fix the Spine problem, it fix the NEXT problem after fix the spine and the ship would continue with the exposed cargo original idea, would fix the problem how the load / unload and would even allow all ships from the series to land loaded.

So what you think?

Smuggling, what ships do you guys recommend?

There are tons of ships in the game that carry cargo however some fit the role of a smuggler better than others. I was thinking something along the lines of a constellation or caterpillar would be the best options due to the good amount of cargo space, and decent defences. What do you guys think?

I have just downloaded the Launcher, and after hitting install it will fail to move past "initializing", and simply return to an install button.

When I begin it my memory hits 90% and right before it fails the disk does as well.
