I've noticed in 3.2 that given the shields and main guns on the freelancer (MISC stock) I can pretty much take on any ships that are not playing in an organized pack.

A smart single seater can sometimes take out an engine if I've recently come out of another battle with shields low - in which case they can take me out before I kill them or run as my shield/gun advantage is trumped by lack of mobility.

But if entering a battle at full shields and no damage, the freelancer can AFB and maneuver fast enough to make it's shields and gun the trump card in most battles. What you can't outright win you can escape to come back with healed shields a short time later.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but truly...

Freelancers rule.

Did some of the features like grabby hand that was there for grabbing/pushing to nearby objects during EVA, and the vapour formation inside helmets from breathing, got removed? They where clearly there in the 2.x versions.

I like how they are taking the approach of developing the 4 moons in just a month Goes to show the progress Before it took tons of time to polish them and create them evident by yela, daymar, cellin, and delamar, but now that theyve done moons before, they're challenging themselves to finish 4 in a month which i find great because the progress shows how now that theyve done it, they can do it again many times faster which I think is hopefully gonna apply to making planets and even systems because with stanton done, theyll have experience with how to make a system and planets and moons, so they'll be able to develop more systems and planets faster, just like seen with moons

Decoupled Mode: Broken AF or Working as Intended?

I'd like a Dev response if possible.

From 2.6 until this 3.2 release it was possible to accelerate a ship to a speed, decouple and remain travelling in that direction at that speed. You know Newton's Laws of Motion right?

Now, in space, ships slow down as if going through an ocean of water and not a vacuum, WTF is wrong? Like many fellow citizens here, I've a decent fleet of ships. I think a smaller, easy to manage solo ship to travel around the verse should be a part of any fleet. My pick is the 315p for decent speed, range, scanners, and a couple scu of cargo. I'm also considering an avenger titan as well, but I'm willing to bet range will be a factor later on. I also wish to avoid combat if possible in my daily driver. What are your daily drivers/suggestions?

TLDR: What is your go-to personal transport for the verse?

Shield Penetration - Physical vs Energy

Sort've a 2 parter, but I was wondering if anyone knew how the shields were work, especially for larger vehicles, with regards to physical objects?

With larger vessels, the shield would be a larger bubble, so would this allow small ships / EVA? to pass through or will the shield block anything from passing (either physical or electrical/beam based weapons?)
