I know this is probably asked a lot. But this feature I believe was promised back in January. It's incredibly frustrating at the moment, but I was just wondering if there is a method to doing this and sharing the reward. I'm pretty new to the game and this is kind of a deal breaker. We are all part of an organization if that helps?

I made a post about being stuck without money or fuel. I no longer have an issue with fuel. I’ve tried to do some skimmer missions but my ships don’t do enough damage. Is there a way just to reset everything or what.

I appreciate this is possibly requested a lot, and the answer is personal preference to some extent, and also there are tools like Erkul.

However, I've been finding it difficult and hit/miss finding a viable loadout with my hornet and titan.

Should I be going fixed s3 or gimballled s2?

Is rate of fire preferred or damage per hit?

Energy or physical?

Mix or match types?

Attritions? Laser repeaters? Scatter guns?

I find that simply using Erkul to simply max dps (even avoiding dispersion) is a very ineffective method.

I also tried having one gun dispersion and the rest normal and that seemed redundant... But maybe I'm wrong?

Are there nuances to setting up a ship I'm missing? I'm literally just plonking them on the ship and going. (I recently learned if you get Attritions to OC them a bit to increase initial dps).

Also, specifically on the hornet: erkul seems to thinki can mount two s1 guns in the nose? And two s2 on the turret/4th gun... (instead of 1 s4).

Also i tried buying the rhino repeaters last night and couldn't see them at DD in A18??

All help and clarification appreciated.

So I haven't played in a long time, probably since last year. I've been playing for 2 days now and I got to say I'm impressed with where the game has gone so far. Animations are smoother, I like the new scanning feature, mining seems cool, weapon attachments and armor variants. I actually like the idea of the new hover mode though it needs some polishing for sure. I'm glad enemy AI actually move around now as crazy as their movement is. At least they dont just stand still and float randomly like the last time I played. Shields seem crazy op right now or maybe its just my energy weapons I was using on my ship? Hard to tell. Over heating when using quantom jump is pretty annoying.

Question: Whats good weapons to use this patch? Strictly for smashing shields? I like to use the HAWK, SUPER HORNET and WARDEN.

Hey I'm kind of new to Star Citizen I love MMOs I love open world's I love RPGs this game sounds really cool I want to get excited I want to help support it I want to play it eventually when it comes out

the thing is it's been 8 years and it's still in Alpha I understand the game they want to make is Big so it's going to take a long time that being said has there been progress actual progress to show that they are moving forward and the dream slowly but surely it's coming true

As someone who doesn't like playing the Star Citizen game client, watching videos isn't always as clarifying as I wished them to be, but today I watched Failure to report's video on hover mode with his reference to helicopters in Arma, and suddenly everything that I found confusing from watching other videos from before became all clear.

Firstly, a commenter for the youtube video below points out something very important that I would say must not be ignored:

---> "There is a reson arma players never use the auto hover mode...... It's abysmal."



Obviously, having hovermode being turned on with a key press isn't a good idea to remedy how hover mode apparently work like atm. So, please ignored Failure to report's idea of having a button to toggle hover mode, which probably works the way it does right now in the latest game client. As I understand it, the game doesn't have the proper flight mode, or, they didn't make it that way.

Hover mode should imo be just like moving a helicopter in arma, in the sense of forgetting about there being any hover mode, just control the spaceship from fast speed to slow speed (and landing/take off). The transition between slow speed and high speed would be smooth unnoticeable.. like how a heli in Arma flies forwards.

I like playing helicopters in Arma, and using a joystick it works nicely. I play with the non-realistic flight mode, so I have a button on the joystick to lower my decent and another button on the top of the joystick to increase my lift and fly higher (or for compensating, when dropping down too quickly during a maneuver).



I distinctly remember Chris Roberts pointing out that their latest change to the flight system, would have to be the last, or something to that effect. I wonder if you guys are all screwed, or, maybe a proper hover mode can easily be incorporated regardless, not requiring changing the flight system to some new version.
