So I will surely not be the first to write a message like that but I-HAVE-ENOUGH of those freaking annoying bugs that ruin the gameplay experience.
I bought the subscription this month and was happy to get a Carrack. I then started to haul cargo around to get myself a caterpillar so I'll eventually be able to buy myself a multi-crew ship in-game.

BUT, I had solo many glitches and bugs, I just can't anymore. Yesterday my ship exploded 3 times just randomly when I started QT, for no apparent reason, no attacker, I did not press the self-destruct button, nothing, it just exploded 3 times with 280K worth of Astatine inside every time (-740K aUEC total).

Another thing a few days ago I had bought Laranite at T&M mining, the store only has 15K units in stock. So I disconnected in the ship bed and wanted to reconnect to fill the ship up entirely.

BUT AGAIN, The game once crashed at reconnection, and another time it just got stuck in an infinite loading screen, and the last time I was able to reconnect only to find myself at PO with the message "Your is Unavailable, we are sorry for the inconvenience" this also represents 1125000aUEC lost.

All these bugs make the game not really enjoyable for the players that are not rich enough to sink 600+ dollars in ships at the pledge store. I mean we have ships available in-game but the cost millions of aUEC and with all those bugs, I can't get anywhere I always lose an hour of cargo grind because of some stupid glitch.



I think it is really great what CIG has done and is implementing in 3.10 but again would it not be possible to fix bugs or once and not add content.

I can take the example of Mojang who dedicated almost all of the Minecraft1.15 update to bugs and then added content at 1.16, CIG should do the same once, like dedicate 3.11 for bug fixes to make the game enjoyable and not littered with bugs that make the game really not fun for some people like me. I thought about quitting the game many times but I always come back to it because it is really awesome and I don't want it to become something I have to despise.

So please CIG make some bug fixes so we players with not a lot of money can still have a chance to get big multi-crew ships.

I have heard people say to me to do other missions instead like deliveries but these take so much more time and I don't have thousands of hours to sink in this game and this is why cargo is really good for me so I can get more in less time than deliveries or claimjumpers.

So this was my point, sorry if I sound like I am full of rage, it's because I am right now

Here is a bit of knowledge for those of you who maybe new or just don't know. But if your ship is destroyed and you have cargo it will drop. Here is an example.

A Freelancer is loaded with 66scu of diamonds. He meets an unfortunate end and ship is destroyed on the ground. Each SCU will turn into a mission box of diamonds. There will be a small flashing light on each box. They render in at a very short range, around 50-100m depending on server health. So now you have 66 boxes on the ground. If you pick up every one of them and put them in a ship with a large enough cargo grid you can take them to Grim Hex or one of the reclemation yards to sell. They are flagged as stolen goods so don't get scanned. Each box you pick up is only 6 units of cargo, so you are only holding 3.96scu total. But that is better than nothing.

There are some bugs that make the cargo disappear. If you destroy or are destroyed in space around a Lagrange point (R&R station). Or if have an "accident" in upper atmosphere of a planet or moon the boxes will fall to the ground and may vanish through the planet... Or be destroyed on impact.

So I was doing some thinking on how piracy would be profitable or even sustainable in the future, and I realized at least at the present model it would be far from profitable for the time committed and risk involved. For an example lets use what might be considered a typical pirate group of 4 people between 3 ships ( a fighter, a cutlass blue or mantis to stop quantum, and a cutlass black to provide support and hold the loot), our group waits in an opportune spot waiting for a mark and upon finding one (lets say an unescorted trader) they have a brief fight and disable the ship. They got lucky and the ship was full of laranite so lets say they made off with a cutlass full of laranite to sell which would net our group 142,600 aUEC, which would mean each member would get 35,600 aUEC after the loot was sold. 35,600 aUEC minus expenses is not a lot when you consider the potential time investment and doubly so once you add in the risks.

So at this point we have an average group who have brought in a rather above average haul, yet they are potentially at a huge time to profit deficit compared to almost any other way of earning money in-game and that's without accounting for the large extra risk of piracy. This brings me to what I wanted to ask the community: What should be done or what would you like to be done in the future to have piracy be profitable.

TL;DR Piracy model/idea not profitable enough to incentivize people doing it, post/discuss ideas to remedy that.
